World of Tanks: Phase One of Closed Beta Completed, Phase Two Begins Tomorrow

Wargaming.net today announced that it has completed phase one of World of Tanks’ closed beta and will proceed to phase two on September 1st, 2010. The latest round of closed beta will see new servers in North America and the introduction of several new features. In addition to retaining all gold and credits, beta testers will also receive 5,000 gold to test out the new features. A “light wipe” will take place to reset players’ tanks back to tier one and convert all experience earned during the previous closed beta into free experience. Read more

Gala Networks Europe announced today that they have partnered with Snail Games to publish brower-based startegy MMO Terra Militaris (AKA Ministry of War) in Europe. With this new development, it’s probably a better choice for European players to wait for Gala Networks’ official European Terra Militaris release rather than playing the International version currently published by Snail Games. Info: Kitsu Saga transforms players into neophyte martial artists, seeking to survive the rigors of training under their faction’s school and become full-fledged warriors to defend their realms from evil. Huxley: The Dystopia may be making a comeback after the endless stream of launch delays since its E3 debut in 2005. In an unexpected move, the international publisher of Huxley: The Dystopia, NHN USA (owner of ijji) announced that they will be transferring the game’s publishing chores to developer Webzen.
