If you think Mega Man is hard, then you probably haven’t tried Ghosts ‘N Goblins, the insanely difficult game where you die with just two hits and get thrown back to the first level after beating the final boss (this game is unbeatable, I swear). Apparently Ghosts ‘N Goblins is making a comeback again, this time as a free MMO. In a recent announcement by CJ Internet, the company revealed that it has acquired the rights to Ghosts ‘N Goblins from Capcom and is now working on an MMO based on the franchise, dubbed Ghosts ‘N Goblins Online. CardMon Hero Closed Beta Accessible From November 10

CardMon Hero has changed hands again, this time, the cards are in Redbana US’ hands. Formerly known as Camon Hero (other names include Orka Online, Camon Battle or Arksign), the game was originally scheduled to enter open beta earlier in June, but the previous publisher Uforia ran into some problems and developer T3 Entertainment decided to take matters into its own hands, publishing the game through its US subsidiary Redbana US instead. CardMon Hero’s closed beta sign-up is already live and the closed beta test is slated to begin on November 10, 2010. Read more
Legend of Martial Arts Closed Beta Kicks Off November 24

Perfect World Entertainment announced today that Legend of Martial Arts’ closed beta is set to kick off on November 24, 2010. Legend of Martial Arts is the successor to Kung Foo, the quirky and humorous MMORPG released by Perfect World Entertainment earlier this year. Info: Fantasy Hills Online is a fantasy MMORPG developed by Chinese developer Nineyou using the Unreal Engine 3. In the game, NPCs play a huge role and have different sets of “values” or “beliefs” assigned to them. NPCs’ attitude towards the players will be based on their “values” and players’ choices in the game. Nineyou has also put a lot of emphasis on Fantasy Hills Online’s unique world and claims to offer exploration and questing unlike any other.
The game is currently in development with the international release yet to be announced.

Champions Online F2P Closed Beta Begins November 9

F2P strikes again. Following in the footsteps of Dungeons and Dragons Online and The Lord of the Rings Online, Cryptic Studios announced today that Champions Online will be going F2P early next year (good call, seeing as DC Universe Online is arriving early next year). “Transitioning Champions Online to the free-to-play model is a great opportunity to reach a whole new audience of PC gamers that view subscription fees as a barrier to entry,” CEO John Needham stated.
