Battlefield Heroes

Info: Battlefield Heroes is a cel-shaded multiplayer online shooter developed by EA Digital Illusions. The game is basically a stripped down version of the original Battlefield game and you can play as either the Royals or Nationals, which are essentially the British and German forces in World War 2. Despite being browser-based, the game manages to pack the most basic Battlefield experience in and offers full-fledged FPS action with multiple classes, vehicles and maps.

      Had some funny moments in this game…but it was really buggy back then,hope they fixed all this bugs now…if they did it could be a really good game :)

      It's free, but it used to be that F2P playesr could ACTUALLY buy bandaids and the other weapons.

      I quit the game.

      By the way, worst, most asshole community I've ever seen in a game.

      agreed, the game might as well say P2P because you pretty much have to to get any kills anymore. i was a closed beta tester and the game was great! weapons and abilites were balanced and there was hardly any advantage of one class over the other so long as they were played right… but now, they have these uber and super weapons that you either have to play for a week just to get for a couple of days or buy with 5 bucks to have it unlimited and most people buy it with the 5 bucks cuz it's just not worth it to play a game 2 hours a day for a week, we have other games to play. and now the sniper class has turned into the knifing class, gunners can heal, turning them into tanks basically, and soldiers have guns that can do almost 70 dmg with one shot. no sniper ever had a very good chance of survival for long but they could at least get a kill or two. now it's almost impossible to even get a kill with a sniper rifle without having an uber/super weapon so most snipers have turned to knives and quickly learned that they are out matched there as well most of the time, only getting two or three 20 dmg hits by the time the enemy gets out of range so they need the uber/supers there too. it used to be that a good sniper could defeat an entire team on his own if he were smart enough but now, no matter how good you are, you will rarely even get a single kill.

      it's not rly browser based, u still have to downlaud like 1gb client. also suks 4 free players, u dont even get perma weps, and the ones from cash shop are owerpowerd

      Works fine, nice game. Used to be awesome but EA needed cash and Uber weapons and other payed stuff kicked it out of balance…… Try it. it's free…. just over it's best time

      BUT: Battlefield Play4free is in open beta now…. F2p

      77 weeks later and not much better lol. More gear, more hackers, not worth the time anymore. They really took it in the other direction. They turned it into an EA advertisement you pay for, as in, you buy gear from other EA games (dead space, BF, etc) and then you get to run around in a space suite with an AK-74… Know what I mean, jelly bean?

      PS. Bug city plagued by lag quakes. Pistols can shoot through walls, they don't even bother to fix it.

      That too. The weapons are not nearly as OP as people claim. I do better with my default account then I do with my pimped account. But the people there… OMG, poor sport city. They chat more then they fight and half the chat is a fight lol You kill someone, you're a hacker or a noob. You win, you're a noob, you lose, you're a noob.

      Ya, but BFP4F is horrible. Bugs, true OP weapons, no teams (just auto balance BS). BFH doesn't have any OP weapons. Ubers hit for the same damage, they have a higher chance to crit. Most people think there is an OP factor, but in truth, the weapons have sweet spot ranges and most people don't stay in their sweet range. So you will have people using long range machine gun charging others with a close range machine gun and getting whooped.

      They both have the same damage, just different ranges. Up close, the cheeser hits for 20, mid and far, it hits for 5-10. At long range, pitted against a gunner with a long ranges MG, the cheeser is weak…

      Patched to “Pay 2 Win”, not worth playing anymore, most players have left due to the game changes.

      You will never make a kill (well, atleast with less than 50 bullets center mass) unless you buy the OP weapons.
