Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Fourth Beta Phase Starts Next Week

Fourth and final beta phase to run from August 17-19.

Square Enix announced that the fourth and final beta test for Final Fantasy: XIV: A Realm Reborn will begin on August 17th and run until August 19th.

Beta phase 4 will be an open beta, and players who took part in the previous beta phase can get in a day early, on August 16th.

Square Enix also shared more information about the game’s launch:

• Veteran Rewards – Enjoy various bonuses based on how long you choose to subscribe to FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (30, 60 & 90 days). By starting with a 90-day subscription, players receive all 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day bonuses at once.

• Companion iOS App – A free companion app, “FINAL FANTASY XIV: Libra Eorzea,” will be arriving a week after launch.

• Welcome Back Campaign – Those who registered FINAL FANTASY XIV 1.0 can play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn for free until Monday, September 9th.

Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn comes out on August 27th for PC and PS3, with early access beginning on August 24th for pre-order customers. The PC version of the game costs $29.99 and the PS3 version costs $39.99. You get a free 30-day subscription period when you purchase the game, but subsequent subscriptions will cost $12.99 a month.

    FFXIV-ARR great themepark crafting game. Fun for final fantasy fans. Non-fans of series don’t seem to get it. Better economy. There’s little things to do that makes a being in an active guild easier. Most will get bored and walk without seeing the value. Super for those of us who want to keep using our PS3.
