gamigo looking for beta testers for post-apocalyptic MMO.
The closed beta test for post-apocalyptic shooter MMO Grimlands is underway, gamigo has announced. The closed beta adds a good number of features to the game and focuses on testing these new features as well as server stability and network code.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 canned, Survarium arises.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is officially canceled, but the game’s spirit will live on in an upcoming free-to-play MMOFPS called Survarium. Vostok Games, a new studio founded by the developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., revealed today that it is working on a more ambitious post-apocalypse shooter called “Survarium”.

Free-to-play online shooter War Inc. Battle Zone has officially launched, developer Online Warmongers has announced. Originally a third-person shooter, the live version of the game brings forth the FPS mode, which allows players to play in first-person perspective in addition to the original third-person perspective.

Family Guy Online’s open beta test is now live, Twentieth Century Fox has announced. Developed in-house by Twentieth Century Fox, Family Guy Online is a Unity-powered free browser MMO based on the company’s hit animated television series Family Guy.

Eastern fantasy MMORPG launching this summer.
Gamania has announced the start of Soul Captor’s closed beta registration and given the fantasy MMORPG a summer 2012 release window. First announced at the TGS in 2010, Soul Captor is an eastern fantasy MMORPG set in an “alluring Eastern world full of fantastical creatures”.
