Well upon the game release they said anything you could buy or do with irl money you would be able to buy or do with in game currency. I dont mind spending money on game but i hold companies to there word and as of last patch they are showing there true colors. Lets just hope they correct themselves and keep the game as they originally intended high hopes for this company. I think alot of companies switching to f2p model either dont understand that u have to be fare with all players across the board and end up failing with there ideals i for one have high hopes for this one. I tend to always support games and usually go towards the f2p model cause it allows me to spend as i want to opposed to subscription fees you have to pay constantly. Thus far i have found very few companies keeping there games competitive for everyone not just the paying player base witch just is unfair and not as fun you can only rape another gamer so much before it becomes boring and lame.

Good game, well great game. With the F2P model and open world I would love to play this game again. However, it is more CPU intensive than graphically intensive and my computer simply can't handle it.

This game will be around for awhile, and I wish, I WISH I could load up my recon again...

(I quit because I was tired of my low frames).

A tad late perhaps (ha), but not like I frequent this web-site (never been here before even).

Anyhow, although I haven't played GA in a while, I was pretty active in it until Hi-Rez released the grind-patch. Ido goes by Gamespot-score, which says more about Ido than about GA. Hi-Rez didn't buy add-space on Gamespot and well...ok, quick story:

Gamespot had a guy that was going to write a review on GA, the guy was supposed to play with us to see how AvA really worked (yes, we were the best). The guy never showed up, instead he played like two pug-games, made it to level 5 and figured he knew enough of the game. For those that haven't played GA, let me compare it to something you most likely know: World of Warcraft. Imagine someone wrote a review 2 minutes after they exited the noob-zone. Whether you like WoW or not, do you think they would be able to write up an adequate review with that experience?

I haven't played GA for quite a while, but it was a really good game with the best company I have ever met in any mmo (I've played a bunch). The game was far from perfect, don't get me wrong, but it was DEFINATELY worth the money for me. But GA was all about AvA for me (I am an elitist) and the 1.3 patch (I think it was) totally ruined the game for me.

Still, Hi-Rez was a really good company and the game was a blast for several months (we played like 5-6 hours a day, 7 days a week...for several months). Whether the game is any good today, I have no clue, but for me the game was AvA (pre-made group PvP pretty much...a bit more than that, but if you want to know more: check their homepage) and after we won two maps and the patch came...well, it was time to move on.

Gamespot rate this game 5.5/10 so basic this game is just piece of shit with payment. Go and try trial of this game, before started say anything that is not.

I played this game for something like two weeks. To sum up the experiences anyone can hope to have, imagine a large lobby that you stand in for a period of time before you join a match. The match lasts something like 10 minutes, than you go back to the lobby. In most occasions, this match is meaningless. The mmo aspect is identical with the exception that you are playing for spaces on a map like what you'd see on the board game risk. The word you will likely hear is instance. As soon as you hear that word, you can bet the 50 dollars you paid for the game that it isn't an mmo at all.

The game isn't a bad game, it's just not an mmo. The word instance is used to dilute the truth. Global agenda is not an mmo any more than halo, counter strike, team fortress, battlefield, unreal tournament and any other FPS you've ever played is.
