Kabod Online Goes Global, Closed Beta Incoming

Earlier last week, the official Kabod Online website started redirecting international visitors to http://www.kabodonline.net, an English version of their official website intended for players outside of South Korea to take a sneak peek at their upcoming M-Rated MMORPG. According to the Kabod Online team, the global closed beta test will begin soon and the alpha version of the game is already available for international players to download and play as of August 1st, 2010.
Don’t expect a full localization to take place anytime soon though, since the game just started closed beta testing in its home country a few weeks ago. But for a game that was just announced a couple of months ago, the company is moving fairly fast and seems keen on launching Kabod Online simultaneously in multiple regions across the globe.
It’s also worth mentioning that Kabod Entertainment inked a publishing agreement with Hong Kong publisher GameCyber last month, and it remains to be seen whether Kabod Entertainment intends to self-publish the game internationally or look for local publishers to localize the game in other regions as well.
