Seems to be one of the better free2play shooter our there with some nice features but its unplayable for me because of the ping(im from EU)

Looks decent enough.. I think I'll give this game a shot.

the servers are almost impossible to connect!

The servers are located in asia i think so its no big suprise that we all experience huge lag etc…best thing is to w8 for an NA or EU release or to play something else…you cant really enjoy a shooter with this lag.

Why do they have to make the download process so unnecessarily difficult?? And why the hell would the official recommend using Torrent? That really says a lot about their company. >_>

anyone know of a decent FPS that has servers that are available in Japan?

Well,this is a 2009 FPS free2play online game.Someone says:'Whats the lag' bla bla bla
The server is actually located in Malaysia.Thus foreign players would experience tremendous lag.
This game corporates ragdoll physics and has new modes as the so called Mummy Mode,name sux,should be Pharaoh's Curse or something like that.Updates were monthly,I guess.
The game is fairly good,but the thing is,theres alot of grammar mistakes,weapon animations error,weapon sounds incorrect,and ragdoll bugs.
The ak47 is based on the animations of CSS.Sounds from the M4 sux either,the M4 firing sound is actually the XM8 firing sound from the slightly outdated game Crazy Shooter Online *Epic Fail Name*

Here’s my review of Mission Against Terror after playing it for around a week…

I didn’t expect much when i first visited their website (yea it looks like some third rate p0rn site), but i was bored so i gave the game a shot and it’s actually surprisingly good..! i mean seriously (maybe because I didnt have any expectations..), definitely one of the best MMOFPS I’ve ever played and 100 times better than the horse shit that is sudden attack. It plays almost as smooth as CS: Source and looks really decent for a F2P game.

The cash shop doesn’t throw the game off balance that much either, because you can easily earn silver coins and for weapons you cant afford you can always kill some noobs and grab their guns lolz (though i’d pay for some guns if they didn’t use days to determine how long i can own the guns).

It’s really all about skill and you can easily kill somebody armed with a better weapon if you have the right skills. I was pwning noobs armed with M134 heavy machine guns with my lousy handgun, and it felt great when i looted their M134 and used it against them when they respawn…

And like what some anonymous guy mentioned earlier on this page, bug is a huge issue, but they dont really affect gameplay that much (except for one where i fell off the ground after i got killed and couldnt respawn, but that only happened once.) .

The sound also fails miserably in this game, the voiceover is downright horrible, I would have preferred it if they’d used text instead.. and the MGS and pirates of the caribbean BGM rips just feel out of place. Piece of advice to the developers – Silent is golden (especially when you can’t afford original sound tracks and good voice actors!) But i’ll overlook this for now since it’s still in beta…

There are also some special modes in addition to the good old fashion DM and TDM, they look fresh at first but feels gimmicky after a while, so i dont have much to say about them (and i wont comment on the cheaters and hackers either…). Overall, MAT is a smooth and solid shooter with a lot of potential, whether it becomes a commercial success or epic fail depends solely on how the publisher handles the title… For now, I’ll give it a 4.5 out of 5 for keeping me entertained for the past week.

you forgot to mention the horrible engrish translation. normally i'm not picky about grammar, but the english in this game is just incomprehensible… It's like they translated the whole game with google translate…. Honestly even i could have done a better job than the douches that translated this game..

other than that it's a pretty decent shooter… if you can look pass its MANY MANY flaws.

it gets a 3 out of 5 from me…

If you want a really nice and completely free MMOFPS I recommend you give a chance to Urban Terror – when you start playing it, you’ll never get back to anything

Vuze supports their game and has them advertised on its games section, as a lot of other free games and free movies. Loads of people are using BitTorrent for distributing because it saves them the time and money of doing it themselves. Considering this game is free, id say that says alot about the company who is trying to save money but to get people to play the game.

game completey SUCKS as far as realism is concerned. I shot someone with a full clip and they just kept coming. Then shot me with a single shot. Sorry but this is BS!!!!

well i live in the US and i can always conect to the game ..there is never any lag ..unless a huge amount of players join at the same time..but rite now i cant download the latest update..can any1 help me

downloaded this game and was very dissapointed, doesnt support 1920 x 1080 resolution lol terrible effort really… dont download this game if u expect widescreen support, you wont get it.. actually i was quite disgusted by this games effort… the fact that it doesnt support widescreen above 1440x in this day and age is atrocious… lack of a decent budget? id say so… overall opinion? Bleh, just dont bother

ive been playing this game since day 1 and i gotta say that this is by far the greatest free mmofps out there. ive tried them all and this is the only one i'll keep. aside from ava, that ones pretty good too. i dont know what these other guys are talking about lag or whatever. ive never had a problem with this game. its the easiest to register and download than any of the other free mmofps games. the best part is the gameplay. very smooth and noob friendly. dont gotta be pro to play. anyone having trouble with this game must have a crap system, live in a remote part of the world, or is just a flat-out lame.
