Item shop opens for business; Leafs of Oblivion up for grabs.
We’re only two weeks into Prius Online’s open beta, and the game is already ready for prime time. Earlier today, gPotato announced the launch of Prius Online’s Item Shop, along with a special event that should give you plenty of incentives to log in.

Well lookit that, Lapins!
Gamepot has announced that Wizardry Online will be heading to North America and Europe next year. Developed by Headlock and first announced last month, Wizardry Online is a free-to-play, hardcore dungeon crawler that’s every bit as unforgiving as its predecessors. Gamepot says there’s even permanent death in the game. Sounds like a pain in the ass. I like it.

Back in August of last year, Cryptic and Atari announced that they were making a new online RPG based on the Neverwinter Nights series. Today Cryptic announced the launch of the game’s official website and released a teaser trailer to accompany the launch.

Outspark’s new MMORPG coming out this summer.
Luvinia Online, the fantasy MMORPG from Shanda Games, has opened its closed beta registration, publisher Outspark has announced. The news came nearly one year after the game’s original announcement, which predicted a fall 2010 release (that obviously didn’t go as planned). According to Outspark’s latest press release, the release window has been pushed back to summer 2011.

Open beta kicks off today; prizes await pioneers.
For those who don’t know, the open beta for gPotato’s “cinematic” MMORPG Prius Online is set to begin at 2:00 PM (PST) today. The open beta version of the game will introduce a number of improvements and new content, including the female Ayin Race, an increased level cap of 50, four new dungeons, the Bounty Hunter System and more.

:By Crom! Age of Conan is going free-to-play this summer!
Funcom announced today that Age of Conan will relaunch this summer under a new name and business model. The new release of Age of Conan, titled “Age of Conan: Unrated“, will introduce a hybrid business model that will allow players to play for free and access about half of the game’s content, or pay a monthly subscription fee and gain full access to everything the game has to offer.

Wizardry goes online.
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Wizardry (Coincidentally, it’s also Wizardry 8′s 10th anniversary), Gamepot Japan announced on May 21st that it’s developing a new MMORPG based on the Wizardry IP, dubbed “Wizardry Online”.

Hellgate London Resurrected.
T3 Entertainment, Redbana and HanbitSoft today jointly announced the relaunch of Hellgate, the shooter MMO from Flagship Studios that was discontinued by Namco Bandai Games back in 2009. According to the press release, closed beta for the now free-to-play shooter MMO will run from June 3 to 5, with the commercial launch expected later this year.

Open beta for fantasy MMORPG starts tomorrow.
Asda 2′s open beta will be arriving on May 19, GamesCampus has announced. During the open beta, GamesCampus will be hosting a number of events such as “Race to Login”, “Soul Mate leveling” and “Daily Attendance”.
