War of Angels in North America. Developed by NJ Interactive (formerly Nglim Soft) based on its Computer RPG franchise
The Fate, War of Angels is a fantasy MMORPG “situating players in a colossal struggle between good and evil.” Neowiz Games also launched the official website today and scheduled the closed beta test for November 3 – 12.

Legend of Edda’s closed beta just ended yesterday and GameCampus is wasting no time rolling out the open beta. The open beta – which will begin on October 14 at 10:00 AM PST – will bring a number of changes including an increased level cap of 40, new world areas and two new dungeons to explore.

UTV True Games and Smart Bomb Interactive recently announced Sky Legends, a browser-based multiplayer online aerial combat game from the makers of Snoopy Flying Ace and National Geographic Animal Jam. The game features customizable airplanes, fast-paced multiplayer combat and FPS inspired game modes like Capture the Flag, Dog Fight and Team Dog Fight. Sky Legends is free-to-play and set to launch early next year.

Bigpoint today announced at GDC 2010 Ruined Online, a free-to-play multiplayer online browser game set in a post-apocalyptic San Francisco. Ruined Online is a comic book style arena shooter featuring 6 playable villains (you play as villains because heroes are apparently overrated) — The Crawler, The Samurai, The Mutant, Enforcer, Assassin and Mad Medic. The game is currently in development and expected to enter open beta later this winter.

Avatar Creations announced today that
Perpetuum is recruiting testers for an open beta test beginning on October 18th, 2010. Perpetuum is a sci-fi MMORPG set in the not-too-distant future where humanity has ventured into the far reaches of space in search of resources with remotely controlled robots. The game is subscription-based, so to continue playing after the open beta players would need to pay a monthly subscription fee of 9.95€. According to Avatar Creations, early subscribers will get to play Perpetuum one week before the commercial launch.

Aeria Games announced today that they have in their arsenal the DDTank. Bearing a resemblance to GunBound and Worms, DDTank is a browser-based multiplayer online artillery game that lets you battle one-on-one or in four-player teams. Early sign-up for DDTank just went live and the game is expected to launch later this month.
