Yes, it’s a portable MMO gaming system and it’s called
The Jungle. I almost wrote this off as a hoax, but it’s the real deal and well under development at Panasonic Cloud Entertainment (A subsidiary of Panasonic). According to reports from Gizmodo and CrunchGear, The Jungle is equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, D-pad, touchpad, shoulder buttons, HD display, Linux OS and plays Battlestar Galactica Online.

In a recent newsletter issued by Aeria Games, the company announced that its tactical action MMO
Dynasty Warriors Online will be heading into closed beta on October 14, 2010. On another note, Aeria Games is also planning to give away one Xbox 360 controller per day from October 4 – 10 in their DWO Controller Event. More details in the newsletter attached below.

The Vindictus team recently announced on their official website that
Vindictus is set to begin its open beta on October 13, 2010. The early access beta on the other hand, in preparation for the open beta, will end a day earlier than originally planned on October 5. Players who participated in the early access beta will get to keep all their stuff, including levels, skills, items and gold.

YNK Interactive announced that the next iteration of the Seal Online franchise – Seal Online: Eternal Destiny – will launch on October 5, 2010 following the closure of Seal Online: Evolution earlier today. Eternal Destiny, according to YNK Interactive, is
not an expansion, and as such character data from the previous Seal Online would not be transferable to Seal Online: Eternal Destiny.

IGG announced today that Dreamland Online is set to commence its Alpha test in November. “Dreamland Online includes a wide variety of unique, cute elements that are sure to wow gaming fans around the globe as they take a trip into a world of fantasies spun variously from the darkest recesses of the mind or the wildest flights of fancy,” the press release reads. According to IGG, limited amount of alpha keys will be distributed to Dreamland Online’s Facebook fans real soon.

Gala Networks Europe (gPotato) announced today that they’ve acquired the rights to publish
Age of Wulin – Legend of the Nine Scrolls in Europe. “Age of Wulin will include everything that players expect from a high quality MMORPG, such as PvE and PvP content, crafting and professions, group battles, challenges to solve conflicts, a housing system and much more,” we’re told. The game will make its way to Europe next year and be made available in English, French and German.
