Aeria Games announced today that they have acquired the martial arts themed MMORPG Kitsu Saga. Developed by X-Legend (formerly EASYFUN Entertainment), creators of Aeria’s hit title Grand Fantasia, Kitsu Saga challenges its players to train in the ways of combat and become proud warriors for their faction, all while accompanied by wily and mischievous fox-spirits known as Kitsu.
Gala-Net announced a few moments ago that they have begun the closed beta application process for their upcoming free MMORPG Iris Online. Iris Online is a gypsy-themed fantasy MMORPG developed by Eyasoft, the developer of Luna Online, Titan Online and Legend of Edda among other games. InnoGames today launched the official website and released the first trailer for their upcoming free MMORPG Tribonia. Recently acquired by InnoGames, Tribonia (AKA Arcadia Saga) is a medieval-themed fantasy MMORPG developed by ROSSO Index. In a recent press statement by Microsoft in regards to their Gamescom 2010 lineup, the company unveiled the next iteration of the popular Age of Empires franchise, dubbed “Age of Empires Online”.
According to foreign reports, Gala-Net (owner of the MMO publishing platform gPotato) has signed a publishing agreement with CJ Internet to publish Prius Online in North America. Prius Online is a fantasy MMORPG with a unique Anima System that lets players raise childlike fairies called “Anima” and summon colossal creatures to aid in battle. No specific date has been announced yet, but the game is expected to launch in North America sometime during the first half of 2011.
This may be sudden, but it’s the real deal. Dynasty Warriors Online is reaching out to global audiences today courtesy of Aeria Games. To add to the shock, Aeria Games has already set up the official website and opened the beta application (Yes, for real. I’d have never known if I didn’t frequent KOEIWarriors). First announced by Game&Game last year, Maestia is a fantasy MMORPG with a robust skill system and large scale PvP battles. The game hasn’t quite hit the spotlight over the past year and has been constantly overshadowed by similar games released after its announcement, but after being acquired by BIGPOINT a couple of months ago, the new publisher has been hard at work and announced today the latest closed beta schedule to be on August 18, 2010. Interested players can head over to http://www.maestia-online.com and get a beta key from the official message boards.
Quest Online announced today that Alganon will be going F2P this Friday. Alganon was first launched on April 28 and the game was priced at $19.95 – with no monthly subscription commitment – and supported by a micro-transaction system. The new Alganon F2P model removes the final barrier of entry to this game. Starting on Friday August 13th 2010, gamers who don’t already own Alganon will be able to download it from www.alganon.com for free.
SOE announced today that Clone Wars Adventure will make its debut on September 15, 2010, just two days before Star Wars: The Clone Wars’s season three premiere on September 17.
