Alpha test coming this month.
Aeria Games is recruiting alpha testers for its upcoming fantasy MMORPG Lime Odyssey, the publisher announced today. The alpha test will kick off later this month, and aspiring game testers can take part by filling out a survey located here.

Monster hunting for the masses.
Hunter Blade launched its open beta earlier last week, and yes, it still looks like Monster Hunter. The game, to sum up, is an action MMORPG that’s a lot like Capcom’s Monster Hunter series, but with some additional features such as streamlined quests, PvP arena, character levels, cash shop and “cosplay” (yes, I’m serious, you can dress your characters up in Kratos, Optimus Prime, or even Hatsune Miku costumes).

Latest MechWarrior is free-to-play; coming next Summer.
It’s been nearly a decade since we saw an addition to the MechWarrior series, but it looks like fans won’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on some virtual mech goodness (real men like me play with real mechs. You know, the plastic kind). Infinite Game Publishing and Piranha Games announced today the latest entry to the MechWarrior series, MechWarrior Online.

GhostX revamped and live.
GameKiss announced today that its action MMO GhostX Ultimate has officially launched. Developed by JCE, GhostX Ultimate is the successor to GhostX, an action MMO set in present day Seoul. The game ended its open beta on October 14 and officially launched on Wednesday, October 26.

Roam the streets of Metropolis and Gotham City for free starting next week.
DC Universe Online is going free-to-play on November 1, not far off from the previously announced late October release date. The news came via Sony Online Entertainment’s livecast earlier today, where the game’s developers revealed the free-to-play release date, among other things.

Runes of Magic developer announces new free MMORPG.
Runewaker Entertainment announced at Digital Taipei 2011 earlier today its latest fantasy MMORPG Dragon’s Prophet. The game has reportedly been in development for 18 months and will be released globally next year.
