“Vindictus” to Get North American Release in Q4 2010

Vindictus

Recently at GDC 2010, Nexon America announced that their popular non-targeting action MMORPG Mabinogi Heroes will make its way to North America later this year under the new name “Vindictus”. The Source engine powered action MMORPG offers fast-paced action and realistic physics that allows players to use their surrounding objects as weapons. In addition, the game also has loads of gigantic monsters that will require a lot of coordinated effort from players to defeat.

Vindictus uses an instanced approach similar to that of Phantasy Star Online and Guild Wars, where players gather in persistent staging zones to make preparations and plan their adventures before going into instanced areas for missions.

    This is surprisingly good-looking and the gameplay parts of the trailer seem to be realtime rather than the usual staging mmo devs use to make it look like its not just another "click then watch the fight" mmo. I"m trying not to hype myself up, but I hope this game is as good as it seems!

    hehe just get a VPN and voila there's your US ip :P been doin this for ages for other services, that ip blocking crap is getting quite annoying btw, pops up more and more, on the other hand im getting quite handy with tunneling/proxy's

    Supposedly, the game requires amazing ping. The fact it works so well in Korea is that their net stomps ours i n the states. I’m sure trying to tunnel or whatever would just result in unplayability. Just move to korea.

    Vindictus Closed Beta starts on the 19th of July.. Unfortunaly Europeans are not Eligible for Registration to Closed Beta , How sad..
