Frogster today replaced Mythos Europe’s teaser site with a full-fledged gamesite, complete with heaps of new content and a closed beta sign-up page! Mythos is a fantasy MMORPG developed by a team of former Blizzard North employees at Flagship Studios before the company dissolved in 2008. The game is currently handled by Hanbitsoft and published in Europe by Frogster.

GamesCampus announced today that the closed beta test for their upcoming free-to-play MMORPG Legend of Edda will run from September 30 to October 11, 2010. Legend of Edda is a fantasy MMORPG loosely based on Greek Mythology and tells the tale of two opposing factions, the Olympus and Titans, which lays the foundation for the game’s RvR setting.

Wargaming.net today announced that it has completed phase one of World of Tanks’ closed beta and will proceed to phase two on September 1st, 2010. The latest round of closed beta will see new servers in North America and the introduction of several new features. In addition to retaining all gold and credits, beta testers will also receive 5,000 gold to test out the new features. A “light wipe” will take place to reset players’ tanks back to tier one and convert all experience earned during the previous closed beta into free experience.

Gala Networks Europe announced today that they have partnered with Snail Games to publish brower-based startegy MMO Terra Militaris (AKA Ministry of War) in Europe. With this new development, it’s probably a better choice for European players to wait for Gala Networks’ official European Terra Militaris release rather than playing the International version currently published by Snail Games.

Huxley: The Dystopia may be making a comeback after the endless stream of launch delays since its E3 debut in 2005. In an unexpected move, the international publisher of Huxley: The Dystopia, NHN USA (owner of ijji) announced that they will be transferring the game’s publishing chores to developer Webzen. Webzen and NHN USA are internal divisions of the same parent company NHN Corporation.

THQ announced just now that the open beta for Company of Heroes Online is coming up next week! Closed Beta testers will get to keep their accounts during the Open Beta but will have to have their items and commanders wiped for a fresh start.
