RIFT will go free-to-play with the launch of its next major expansion, Empyreal Assault, Trion Worlds has announced. On June 12th, you’ll be able to download and play RIFT for free, with access to every dungeon, warfront, raid and level.

Board game maker Cryptozoic is working on a genre-blending MMO trading card game.
Cryptozoic Entertainment, the company behind various licensed trading card and board games, including the World of Warcraft trading card game and Penny Arcade board games, has announced a Kickstarter to fund its new “MMOTCG” title HEX: Shards of Fate.

Prius Online relaunched as Arcane Saga; public beta now underway.
Netmarble has announced a public beta test for its sci-fi MMORPG Arcane Saga, a relaunch of the 2011 MMORPG Prius Online. The public beta phase, which is open to players in North America, South America and Europe, started as of Tuesday and will run until Sunday, May 12th.
