Info: World of Tanks is a team-based MMO action game dedicated to armored warfare. Throw yourself into the epic tank battles of World War II with other steel cowboys all over the world. Your arsenal includes more than 150 armored vehicles from America, Germany, Britain, and the Soviet Union, carefully detailed with historical accuracy.

A flexible system of authentic vehicle upgrade and development allows you to try any of the vehicles and weapons in the game. Whether you prefer to exhaust your foes with fast and maneuverable light tanks, make deep breaches in enemy lines with all-purpose medium tanks, use the force of giant tanks to eliminate opposing armored forces, or become a heavy sniper with long-range howitzers, each unit type has its own advantages and can be extremely effective when operated by a true tank ace.

But being a great tank commander alone isn’t enough to win! In WORLD OF TANKS, it’s all about teamwork. Victory is achieved by combining your combat skills with those of the other members of your team, each playing their own role on the battlefield. Just add your favorite strategy to build your own iron empire and manifest the indisputable authority of the tank!

This is a great game. If you haven’t given it a try you are really missing out on some fun.

This is a great game. If you haven’t tried it you are missing out on some fun and the best part is you can play for free.

derp, looks decent, plays easy enough but has glaring balance and damage model issues

      Arty tended to instagib everything
spotting system was shocking (tiny bushes making massive tanks quite literally invisible 100m away)

has an oppressive financial system that forces you to pay or grind out lower teirs to make funds to keep the higher tiers as well as limiting the number of vehicles/crews you can have in your garage

played the game for about 2 years and nothing really changed so switched to War Thunder and never looked back…ar Thunder will be releasing ground vehicles soon so i expect World of Tanks will be dead soon

Ok as you can see from previous post, the level of interest is fading for this game. Most of it from the level of whining you see in every PvP battles to forcing players to pay countless amounts of money to truly compete. Which then forces players and outside developers to come up with Cheat Mods you can add to your game. It’s like a race for the best cheating mods available. You’ll see in various WoT forums everyone asking where to find the latest and greatest. If you don’t have them, you’ll find yourself behind, if you don’t buy premium rounds you’ll be behind, if you don’t buy premium time its a major grind to advance to the next tank. When you do advance you have to make a choice, sell a tank in your garage to have the garage slot for your new tank, or purchase a garage slot so you can keep the tanks you worked so hard to achieve. It has turned into a massive money grabbing, mod using game. I switched to Armored Warfare. Modern tanks you’ve seen in the news thru the years, endless FREE garage slots, no mods. Don’t want to battle in the possible whining atmosphere of PvP battles? Play 5 tank games against hordes of ai’s in levels of easy, medium, and hard. New Global Operations plays similarly to War Thunder, minus being able to jump into aircraft.
